HEY... kelly ng can be very long-winded if she wans, em c


so... gotong-royong wasn't as nice as last year. (not that last year was that nice oso)

Flashback:

It started like this:

we got into d library. every1 was like running about, busy. D 1st thing we noticed: d lib had a makeover. d counter was moved and so were the shelves. first reaction: OMG.

grace, being grace noticed us newcomers. she made sure that we hav stuff 2 do. (meaning: stand on a stack of chairs and wipe the top of the shelves)

Brenda got freaked cuz there was a really, really dusty book on top of a shelf. after that, we had 2 take out the books and wipe the shelves.

grace, being grace (again) told us to finish the whole english fiction shelf by 9. the time: 8.35-8.45
so we had 2 work like super-fast. a few ppl would take out the books without disturbing the arrangement. the other would wipe the shelf when all the books were taken out.

we finished by 9, thank goodness.

this year:

got into d lib. OMG. a sea of black shirts greeted me. the message was obvious. you're late!!! not that any1 said that. you just get the message... stumbled past chairs and chairs occupied by librarians. grabbed a chair and sat at the table conquered by the form 3 gang.

our form 2 gang was incomplete: emily, jes and hui min were coming late. was called by leannza. stumbled past more chairs (i never walk, i stumble. too many chairs in my way, using their legs to try to trip me. actually its my legs that get caught with the chair legs.) she had only like 7/8 form 1 names on the list and was wondering who she missed out.

it was sooo hard figuring out who was who. their backs were facing us so we couldn't see their face. their hair looked all the same. lol. anyway. we finally got it done. i peeked at my job: clean out d bbm room. ewww.

luckily, d bbm room was occupied. instead, we started arranging the 200 books. stock check style. I could hav sworn that we had already arranged it during stock check. after all, i was helping that group. oh well, i may b mistaken.

em c, huimin and jes came. late. no surprises. then em called me 2 help her think of wad 2 do 4 d ajk board. we sat there, stoning, brainstorming. whichever. didn't come up with anything. i remember amanda coming and advertising her peeling off stickers job.

somewhere in between peeling off the stickers, i started calling amanda manda. don't ask y.

blahblah. we had 2 take chairs down 2 wash. imagine. washing chairs. then they mopped the lib so we had 2 sit on the stacks of cleaned chairs and wait for them to finish.

Itianne threatened us into washing chairs (well, she tried) by saying that we would have 2 stay till 5 if we were not done. we told her it was fine, after all, we had school after that. if that means skipping class, well, good la.

After gotong-royong, we stayed in the library and gave barcodes to those horrible chinese non-fiction books. begged pn m to stay till 3 instead of 2.30. hehe. her reason 4 leaving early: I've got 2 study 4 spm 2moro. Rite.

Went back to class at 2.50 pn margaret was in there 4 bacaan. boring... nat was doing spbt. we nerded over books 4 a while til em c got bored of reading then we kinda talked n stoned.

got crappy results. hate maths. stupid, y did i hav 2 b so kind? got 1 mark deducted from my perfect 59/60 for subjective cuz i lent my paper 2 em c so that she can squeeze a mark out of cik su...

lesson learnt: don't be kind. be selfish. muahahahaha

New books update

ok. I suddenly felt like writing (more of typing) a lot here. Bear with me...
Pn M bought loads of books last month (i think). It's probably about AT LEAST RM1,500 worth of books...

So....

two days ago was Pn M's '18th' Birthday... (so called)

Kelly, Me, Emily, Yi Qian, Gheek, Grace and 4 more people....
decided to buy a cake...

It all started 1 week ago...

We went into her 'office' and started chatting...

14th june nightmare

(yes, i know, u can find d same post in my blog)

haha... i'm back frm skool!

it was fun, i suppose...

we started off with lazing around... sittin down n takin out d double-sided tape...

n den grace came n nearly confiscated becky's hp...

n then they assigned us jobs. me n gheek were supposed 2 make a pic of a volcano bigger...

then we put up the backdrop 4 d stage... (it no pice of cake, i can tell u)
it involves a lot of hammering and bendin the pins...

The best part: PIZZA N CAKE not to mention SOFT DRINKS for LUNCH

then we had practice 4 d fashion show... i din stay in the hall 4 long cuz it was borin...

after returning 2 d sweet, sweet aircond of d lib, we were peeling of d covering 4 double-sided tape n scrunching n stuffing newspaper...

left at like 3.50, thank gudness or else i'd die... imagine a whole 9 hrs of preparin 4 mps...

haha... 2day went 2 skool 2 prepare 4 The Dreaded MPS... *dramatic music plays*

we started with stickin double-sided tape behind posters... :( yuck

n then, we started stringing pasta... hard work that requires patience... especially the macaroni...
instead, me n jes were makin our names wif pasta... a bit like dominoes... will try 2 post pics of it... :)

then i had 2 do printing the word "Itay" 4 d backdrop of d stage... haiz... sux

we had roti canai 4 lunch. ROTI CANAI
n ghee ken drank d dahl... howeva u spell it... he DRANK it straight frmd cup he poured it into...

haha... can't reali say wad we did cuz szeyin & zaeyee wud kill me... lol

2nd day of camp part 2

hehe... sori, had 2 break it into 2 parts... too long, n i 4gor 2 mention dat we played ice breakers in the morning b4 orang utan island...

after calling the sun bears loads of names (eg: monica bear, nigel bear) n teasing keli when we saw d catfish (ikan keli, geddit?)we hurried back cuz it looked like it was gonna rain...

n guess wad? our prediction was accurate... it DID rain, just as we were on our way back... lucky us... so, we ran/walked/jogged back that 1.5km... this is how we looked after dat...

2nd Day of Camp

so, where was i? oh yea... we had a choice to either walk of hire a van 2 drive us 1.5km ... not surprisingly, we decided 2 walk as we would hav 2 pay if we hire a van...

so, we got there in like 15 mins... n we had 2 wait at least 2hours 2 get on the ferry 2 orang utan island... it was... crazy...

the orang utan island is where they just to put it simply, care 4 orang utans... they release the orang utans after they go thru like donno how many stages of training 4 d wild... (suddenly, librarian training dosen't seem so bad...)

after that, we went 2 d eco park... we did the sky-cycle thingie which was pretty awesome, except that keli n leannza took so long n we had 2 wait 4 them...

we got to the resort, bathed, unpacked n watever u do after u check in... had free n easy time until supper which was @ 9.45...

anyway... after lunch, we went 2 St. Micheal's Institution. Its an ANCIENT school which is like 96 years old with a 5 star toilet... dun ask me, i dun noe y its called a 5 star toilet...

n it was their interact club's iu day... this is their wushu club ppl performing a lion dance 4 us...

after dat, we went into their hall, which has AIR-COND... 2 watch another lion dance n chinese orchestra...

after dat, we went 2 dis cemetery 4 soldiers who fought in world war II...

so the 1st day... we all gathered in sjool @ abt 8.15, left skool @ approx 8.45...

Yay!!! its Librarian camp... and they're going Bukit Merah and im staying here...lol.. at least i can catchup with kelly's number of posts... hehe... lol... coz i dun think she'll be able to go online...

IM GOING TO MACAU!!! and HONG KONG!!!! so excited.....lol... (i noe the 'lol' makes it ook fake but its the TRUTH!!!!!i've told u all in my previous posts...)(rite???!!!)

Celebrate ppl, its d end of exams....! No more studying... No more comin 2 skool early 2 use reference buks in d library! No more shoutin at d ppl hu juz cant shut up! No more fining ppl hu r reali SUPER EXTRA noisy! YAY!!!

Of course... this is onli 4 d afternoon session ppl... so morning session ppl, study hard... exams r finishin! Hols r comin!

now... time 2 PARTY!!! to Grace and all other form 5 seniors, all the best and don't stress up 2 much...
